These things that I create,
these sounds, these moments, these emotions
obtain no semblance of cohesion
They speed up and slow down
redundant but rarely repeating
Recorded on laptops and four tracks
only to fade into inaudible oblivion
They need glue and tape
and a track to ride upon
They need to be nurtured
and given reasons to develop
before they are silenced forever
